How to organize personal matters¶
What this is for¶
The personal life modules keep outside the current plan the things that are also part of your day: important dates, pet care, chores and the bucket list. Each one keeps its own entries and decides on its own what goes into the planner.
How to get there¶
All the modules are in the Personal group in the side menu: Dates (/dates),
Pets (/dogs), Cleaning (/cleaning) and Bucket List (/bucket-list).
Which entries are visible depends on Settings → Modules, Dashboard & Today.
Step by step¶
- Save important dates (birthdays, anniversaries, time off) in the important dates module.
- Keep animal profiles and care tasks in the pet care module.
- Maintain the chore list and sync it with a week in cleaning.
- Save long-term dreams in the bucket list.
- Check things off in the day plan or on the module's page.
Fields and options¶
| Module | Address | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Dates | /dates |
Important dates with a countdown, a category and an optional day off. |
| Pets | /dogs |
Animal profiles, one-off tasks and recurring care routines. |
| Cleaning | /cleaning |
Chores grouped by location with assigned days of the week. |
| Bucket List | /bucket-list |
Dreams with a status and an optional target date. |
Habits, Tracker and Timers belong to the same group but have their own pages: habits, tracker and timers.
Each of the four modules has a Markdown swap button for its own entries; the rules are described in importing and exporting data.
Common mistakes / pitfalls¶
- An entry in a life module does not disappear from or appear in the planner on its own — each module has its own rules, described on its page.
- Turning a module off in settings hides it from the menu but does not delete the data.
